World Conference: Call for Abstracts

Organizers of the 9th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion have announced the Second Call for Abstracts. The Scientific Committee would like to receive new abstracts on Transport Safety, Violence, Intentional Self-injuries, Occupational Safety, Unintentional Injuries, Trauma Care and Rehabilitation. Abstracts should be submitted by the end of June, 2007.

The 9th World Injury Conference will be held on 15-18 March 2008 in Merida Yucatan, Mexico. Early registration has already begun, and scholarships are available for some individuals from low- and middle-income countries who would like to attend.
